Program Description
The Electrical Engineering Technology Program has enjoyed more than 50 years of service to the local community. It is the only AAS degree granting electronics program in Western New York that offers TAC/ABET accreditation. This program prepares students for entry-level skills as technicians in the fields of electronics, computers, communications, instrumentation, automation and power. It also provides basis for transferring to a four-year engineering technology program. Students are presented a solid foundation in electrical and electronics theory along with hands-on laboratory experience. Computer simulation and applications are an integral part of the curriculum.
