SUNY Clean Energy Consortium

About Us

Preparing the Clean Energy Workforce

Communicating and collaborating to build innovative and effective programs

The SUNY Clean Energy Consortium is comprised of SUNY institutions who share a common goal. Together, members work cooperatively to create robust academic programs and trainings that meet the needs of students and industry.

We welcome participation from community and industry members working to produce, distribute, install, promote technology, services, and policies related to energy derived from renewable, carbon-free sources, as well as efforts to reduce energy demand through efficiency measures in buildings, transportation and infrastructure.

Open channels of communication help academic institutions, industry, and instructors to advance clean energy goals.

Preparing the workforce to advance clean energy goals requires collaboration between businesses and academic institutions. Through partnerships with clean energy employers, schools and training programs can develop curricula and learning experiences that equip students with knowledge of the latest advancements in technology and techniques. By earning the credentials valued by employers, our students are positioned for successful clean energy careers that lead to meaningful environmental impacts.

The SUNY Clean Energy Consortium strives to continuously engage industry in order to evolve our programs and create meaningful applied learning experiences.

The SUNY Clean Energy Consortium welcomes SUNY schools and industry partners alike to join in on the conversation.
