Advanced Welding & Fabrication Course
Program Description
Advanced Welding and Fabricating is for welders interested in expanding their basic welding skills. Students will have the opportunity to advance their fabrication skills and welding skills.
Focus Areas
- Vertical and Horizontal Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick)
- Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG) on pipe and advanced out-of-position welds
- Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) on stainless steel, aluminum and pipe
- Advanced Fabrication Techniques
Potential Career Opportunities
- Welder/fabricator in industries such as manufacturing, construction, equiptment repair and advanced fabrication
