Program Description
The Civil Engineering Technology program provides a number of opportunities for students to get real-world experience while completing an associate’s degree. Students can take advantage of numerous field trips and special projects to gain knowledge and training. Many students participate on The SUNY Canton American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Steel Bridge Team (pictured below).
A wide array of employment opportunities in construction, design, materials and related industries awaits you. In addition to a variety of career opportunities, graduates also have options for pursuing a baccalaureate degree at SUNY Canton or elsewhere in Facilities Operations or Industrial Technology Management. Hands-on experience is extensive and those who have completed the program compete very successfully in industry.
